Rhodium is a metal from high hardness, with a excellent degree of corrosion resistance. The rhodium plating bath produces a deposit bright white, with amazing reflective properties. Given its physical and chemical characteristics, especially in jewelry rhodium is used as the final layer of other precious metals to give even more resistance to oxidation, preserving the whiteness and brightness. Rhodium is very popular thanks to its unique white color, very bright, and its high resistance to corrosion even at minimum thickness. Gesm s.p.a. offers two versions, a classic and a version PEARL.
The Bath of ruthenium is used to produce a dark finish anthracite, whose hardness is the highest among metals "noble" electroplated. The finish produced by this type of bath is now the only alternative to chromium plating baths and the tin-cobalt deposits to get dark. Gesm S.p.a. offers two versions, a classic and a version PEARL.
The Palladium is a rare metal of silvery-white appearance, belonging to the platinum group together with rhodiu , ruthenium, osmium and iridium.
It turns out to be extremely resistant to corrosion in air and to the action of acids at ambient temperature. The tank for Palladium finishing in Gesm S.p.a. is able to deposit layers of Palladium very bright, decorative and clear, up to 0.5 microns thick, this can be used as a precoat to the gilding and rhodium finishing, to increase hardness and strength, providing a diffusion barrier, or as a finishing layer for decorative applications.
Thanks to our in-house laboratory equipped with Fischer Spectrophotometer we are able to work on the contract, to ensure and certify the thickness of the deposited Palladium coat.

The process "DELUXE" allows you to achieve exceptional performance in terms of brightness, leveling action and ductility, to which is added an optimal receptivity to all subsequent complementary finishes, such as gold, silver, gunmetal free, etc...
The finishing "GOLDEN BROWN" (gold brown) proposed by Gesm S.p.a., is realized through a bath composed of an alloy of gold, Ruthenium and copper. From this alloy was born a precious deposit ranging from yellow to dark brown in color, used on objects of gold or gold is specific to the industry of precious and decorative on fashion accessories high quality. Given the presence of copper in the alloy, with time the color may notice a slight color change, we therefore recommend a coat.
This gold plating treatment deposits a layer of Au totally nickel free for both technical and decorative applications with a maximum thickness of 2 microns.
