EXTRA PROCESSES
The need to provide customers with a complete product led the Company to create a range of “extra” processes to complement electroplating, allowing customers to obtain a finished product without further steps or logistics transfers, while also generating considerable savings in time and money. These extra processes are carried out after the electroplating itself and involve a series of operations used to give the material particular colourings, ranging from classic antique effects to the most modern paint colourings.
Laser engraving
Laser marking is an industrial processing technique that uses a concentrated beam to cut, engrave or mark materials with extreme precision. The intense heat vaporises or melts the surface, creating permanent, crisp and contact-free results.
Enamelling
Glazing is the process of coating objects with a layer of glass (glaze) whilst hot, with the aim of protecting, waterproofing and decorating the surface.
Brushing
Metal brushing is a surface finishing technique that uses abrasive brushes to create a uniform, smooth and matt surface, giving it an elegant, satin-like finish. It removes imperfections, burrs and machining residues.
Rhinestone setting
Rhinestone embellishment involves applying decorative elements, such as rhinestones, gemstones or similar, to adorn and enhance items.
Antique finish
These include a variety of shading and abrasion techniques, using increasingly advanced and environmentally friendly products. They are used to create an antique, time-worn effect.
