CLASSIC OLD

The CLASSIC OLD range comprises all the decorative coatings that give the treated part an antiqued/worn effect. This is achieved mainly through simple abrasion or with the aid of special oxidising and blackening agents which, by attacking the surface of the deposited metal, impart its characteristic colour.

The pieces then acquire their characteristic areas of light and shade through a “shading” process. Classic examples of antique electroplated finishes include Antique Silver or Antique Brass, while worn finishes include Copper–Silver or Copper-plated Brass.
